Genre, History and description Of Map:

These maps all take place within a proper, mathematically and
geometrically correct hypercube, also called a tesseract. This structure
is a four-dimensional shape, using four physical dimensions, plus a dimension of
time above that. The result for the player is a set of eight unique rooms which are
all connected to each other in ways that bend and twist normal space. A door in a
wall may well open into the ceiling or floor of another room, which exists also 90 degrees
from the observer as well. It is possible to travel in a straight line, yet return to
where one started. Everything wraps back upon itself, in multiple dimensions.

Some players may find this very disturbing.

However, the structure of this environment is also a correct demonstration of a hypercube, and
students of higher math may enjoy these maps as a means to explore a hyperdimensional
world that accurately represents the subject matter.

I have always been fascinated by hyperdimensional structures, and these maps reflect this.

Unique Features:

It is almost guaranteed that the player will have never experienced an environment like this before,
and indeed, even students of hyperdimensional geometry will likely not have enjoyed such an
accessible representation of a hypercube before. This map set is, I believe,
both educational and interesting.
